In Igbo language, Ogazi is the Guineafowl, which is a name given to the beautiful fowl that originated in West Africa. In Igbo spirituality, Guineafowls are very sacred, and no ritual is performed with them. Nnechukwu - the mother of the universe is often hailed as Nne Ogazi.
