IDEMILI Is A Premeval IGBO Water Spirit Who Is Also A Leopard. As A Leopard, She Is Hailed As IDEMILI AGWA AGU. As A Python, She Is Hailed As EKE IDEMILI. In Her Mystery Schools, It Is Said That IDEMILI Was The One That Brought Down AKPA AGWU From BE CHUKWU (The Heavens). AKPA AGWU Is The Bag Of Infinite Wisdom And Knowledge, Which Is The Bag Of The Masters Of Mystical Knowlegde (DIBIA).

Idemili / Idemmiri / Idemiri is one of the most popular Igbo marine spirit. She is the patron Goddess of the people of NNOBI in Igboland. And she is also a pan Igbo water spirit. Mami Wata embodies so much of her attributes. And Idemili took on the tributes of many Goddesses in Igboland. She is our Auset / Isis that took on the attributes of many Kemetic Goddesses. Idemmiri is also hailed as ISI-MMIRI or NNE-MMIRI. In some parts of Igboland that venerates her, She was manifested as the second form of KOMOSU (the wife of Chukwu), in the Igbo fire creation account. The second form of Komosu was water. Idemili is the flooded earth, during creation.
